| Coating was applied during the rain season using short rain breaks and on a poorly prepared surface with remnants of old paint | Old rail car required recoating over a rusty surface with old paint. Coating had to be applied at 99% humidity in one coat with a thickness of 100 – 200 micron. Coating had to tolerate steam cleaning for 6 – 8 hours at 160²C | Coated rail car is shown after application of a single coat of the Polyval coating system after two steam treatment.
